Meteor Garden Episode 12: The Fashion Outtakes
Look who is just casually hanging out in London in his graffiti print jacket... I know it's him, but I can't help but be distracted by the restaurant he's in front of. I love me some Daoming Si, but I also love me some lobster roll. Delicious.
Chatting with his besties back in Shanghai... Put a cowboy hat and a 'stache on Meizuo, and his urban cowboy makeover will be complete!... I prefer a dressed up Ximen, rather than this casual monstrosity... And Lei is still wearing our favorite meemaw sweater!

How cute is this scene with him in his too short pants, in the too small bed, hugging her oversized stuffed animal?!?! And I'm pretty sure my parents have Shancai's flower comforter at their house.

Of course Meizuo is in another turtleneck. How are we feeling about his patchwork blazer? I don't hate it...

Speaking about hating it...Ximen, please stop it with the man-kerchiefs. I can't. It gives me really bad feelings, you know?
DMS didn't have time to go home and change, because he's still wearing the same outfit from the night before... Are we surprised that DMS is wearing matching AJs? Y, you must get these for your boys!...
I know we've seen this outfit before, but it's so amazing, it deserves an encore. Loving the pop of red on the sleeves. A+, DMS. A+... I wish I could say the same for Papa Dong's outfit, but he's going through a bit of a rough patch and fashion isn't his jam, so no comment. He does look like he lost a lot of money though....
Does Shancai EVER TAKE HER DORA BACKPACK OFF?... DMS, are those skinny, acid-washed jeans you are wearing? Of course they are. Not sure what's louder, the sweatshirt or his pants, but whatever, of course the outfit works.

My favorite Lei sweater makes a comeback! Note the mandarin collar for Lei's white button down, always just a little different.... Definitely in my Lei Top 5.
Ximen, wha' happened??? What is that striped sensation situation??? Just take it off, and I mean that in the most asexual way possible. In the words of DMZ, "no, no, no". This was NOT a good episode for you. Fire this stylist. Immediately.
DMZ has inspired me to take it up a notch when I am at home. Gonna throw away my sweats and put on my best red caped dress and heels, and strut around like I own the place. Well, I do own it, but you know, really own the place.
This means saving my sloth sweatshirt for a special occasion. This bums me out too, Shancai.
Back to DMZ. She had some really good fashion moments in this episode. LOVE the outfit here, especially the bottom sweater hem. This is how you do Charlie Brown, if you're going to be inspired by Chuck.
Is she the only one who turns the heat on at home? Everyone else always seems so cold in their sweaters and coats...
